Preseason Kickoff at Turf Moor
Burnley returned to their home ground after a trip to the US and Holland. Nicky Hayen’s side faced Espanyol, with the team showing a good initial performance but conceding an early goal from a quick counterattack by the visitors.
The match began with a fast counterattack from Espanyol that left Burnley 0-1 after just four minutes. However, the Clarets quickly reacted and equalized in the 6th minute thanks to Aaron Ramsey’s powerful shot.
